Things In My House Thursday

We're going outdoors this Thursday, and taking a look at the flowers that take over our beds every summer.

I planted one flower, years ago, and every spring they come back with an absolute vengence and multiply like rabbits.

They grow any and everywhere, and we pull them up by the dozens.

We don't mind having them in lesser quantities, because they are so unique and colorful.

And of course I don't have a clue what the name of the plant is. Anyone?

Things In My House Thursday

The lamp in my bathroom.
It's simple, and it's inexpensive, but I really like it. It provides just the right amount of light if you don't need or want to turn on the big fixture.

The polka-dot lampshade has never gotten old to me. It's still fun.

Even the cheap stand with it's fake, uneven 'crystals' is important because it raises the lamp to just the right height.
