Garage sales are hard work. I used to have them; now I just load it up for the Salvation Army. ;-)
They are really hard work. We live five miles from town out in the country, so we don't have them. It's a good excuse. I have, on occasion, taken some things to friend's homes for their garage sale.
I am long overdue to have a yard sale, but I know too much now. I know how much hard work it can be. Still and yet our house is in desperate need of being purged and making a few dollars off of the things we'd like to get rid of before taking stuff to goodwill is always nice. (if only I can get it all out to the yard and stand the mess within the house long enough for this to happen)
