We Went Out in Public

Last week, when Jessica was sick, Mary and I went to pick up Charlotte.
Charlotte and I picked out her clothes and got her dressed: Foofa top, dark jeans with large rolled-up cuffs, and hot pink cowboy boots. Charlotte picked out accessories.
As we left the house, Jessica said: don't take her out in public looking like that.
At our house, Charlotte found a new necklace to wear and a purse.
And we went out in public.
Hey, as if Jessica always did everything I told her to do.......

When my kids get embarrassed by the things I say and I, I tell them it's pay back time for all the times they embarrassed me! :oP
