This Little Piggy

My colorful, happy, dutiful piggy bank is a healthy size - almost 7 1/2 inches tall (to the top of her ears), and about 8 inches long.

She saves, but she shares with me during a minor emergency (quarters for the car wash, or such).

I like getting change back so I can feed her regularly, and if she ever gets full, somebody around here is getting a sweet treat!!

So cute! I love her whimsical beauty.

Am I missing Mr. Linky? My post is up here: http://www.amixedbouquet.com/2008/11/things-in-my-house-thursday-interesting.htm

Must still be something wrong with linky..... it was here when I posted last night; I added it again this morning - nothing. I'll keep working on it.

I'll visit via comments!

Thanks for participating : )

Hi! I love your little piggy ... I have always wanted a true "piggy" bank for one of my kids, but alas, we have a square, a dog, and a bear.
I just started blogging and learned about you from my daughter @ The News from Caroline. I'm so excited to join you!

She's adorable!!! I love pottery stuff painted all whimsical. If I wasn't married, my home would be dizzying with stuff like this. LOL

I wonder what the history of the piggy bank is. Why a pig? Anyone know?

This makes my change cup (old plastic coke cup from a pizza place at the mall) look getto in comparison.

Love the piggy bank! Cute Cute...and what a fun way to save your car wash quarters and change :)
