Things In My House Thursday #5
>> Thursday, August 28, 2008
A few years ago we visited my aunt and uncle in Anniston, Alabama, and saw so many beautiful and interesting sights. I had a stack (memory card) full of pictures that I loved from the trip, but didn't have them displayed. The Christmas of that year some good friends gave us a set of unique frames, and one of them was perfect for the Alabama pictures. The frame has little ledges / shelves and they have accumulated trinkets; things that really have nothing to do with the pictures, but that's where they found a home.
Most of the pictures are from Cheaha State Park, but the last one is of a restored, working grist mill. (The home of the toad in this post).
The miscellaneous knick-knacks include a scuffed plastic Woody from Toy Story, a Macho Man from I-have-no-idea, some green army men, little horses, tiny airplanes, and more.
Please join TIMHT; it's fun and easy!
Just write your post and link back here with the url / address.
And don't forget to look at everybody's stuff!!

Nice photo/trinket shelf.
Nice shelf! Interesting trinkets. I just posted my first 'Things in My House Thursday' entry.
This is fun! Thanks for hosting it.

That is the neatest frame!
Mine is up! I can't wait to see the rest of the contributions!
I love that shelf! I have a shelf in my living room (ordinary built-in) lined with trinkets from my kids' childhood. I need to photograph them some Thursday.
What a beautiful blog you have! I found your link on Renna's site and had to come see you. It's bedtime now so I won't do the TMHT this week, but hopefully I will remember next week. :)
Well, I wonder what happened!? I posted to the linky list late last night. I was #1!
I like your shelf! Very neat items on it. We have a cowboy in our house, too. :D
FYI, if the "macho man from i don't know what" is the muscular fellow in the blue shirt with JP on the pocket, then i can tell you that it is most likely Dr. Alan Grant (played by Sam Neill) from a little film called "Jurassic Park."
I'm not sure if the action figure is necessarily supposed to be him, or if its just "random Jurassic Park guy," but either way, now you know!
Oh, yeah, now that you mention it, he looks just like the dude in Jurassic Park....
so many movies, so many figurines...
Thank you for praying for us!

I know this is not in your house!
Alright Share-Bear, let's add observant to your list of characteristics. . .
You'd walk past the bear, into the atrium, and look to the left.
Everyone, meet my neighbor, "Saturdays With Sharon" Sharon, aka,Share-bear!
