Fashion Fiesta!

This is one of the greatest "linky posts" that I've ever seen: BigMama is hosting this Fashion Fiesta and we get to see inside dozens of strangers' closets! How FUN!

Everyone's sharing some of the clothes we have, or want, or maybe - want to get rid of. . .

My summer wardrobe will revolve around long shorts and t-shirts.

Here are two of my favorite tees because I love Smallville and I hate High Fructose Corn Syrup:

Sometimes I need to wear my favorite parenting scripture on a pink t-shirt:

front

back

(2 Kings 2:23-25)

And sometimes cute bunnies on a 'hoodie' t-shirt from Target is just what the day calls for.

I want to start wearing skirts more casually, but I'm gonna have to get Jessica to make me some, since I can't afford the ones I want from Boden.

At night - if I have anywhere special to go after dark...... I might wear this shirt from White House Black Market with some jeans. It is super lightweight, sheer, and comfy, but not see-through like it looks in this pic.

Other preferred items usually in my closet are some Nick and Nora pajamas, but I'm not getting them out of dirty clothes basket to photograph. . . I'll do alot of things that surprise me for the sake of blogging, but not that. : )

One item that I wear everyday, with everything, is this necklace from Tiffany's (I got it on eBay). Obviously I love it.

Shoes for the summer are most likely crocs

but might be flip-flops or sandals

"Dressy" shoes! I love these, but I want some wedge shoes, too.

If I could get any new clothes I wanted, they'd be from Boden Boden Boden, or White House Black Market. Otherwise, I rely on the cute things I find at Old Navy or Target.

I like your closet contents alot!

I was too lazy to drag my stuff out to photograph so I could participate. ;-Þ

Lucky for you!! You now have two daughters that can sew. Surely between the two of them you can get some skirts. Remember, Mary has "open class" starting up and can sew whatever she wants or whatever her mom would like. Does that work for you?

I love the respect your elders t-shirt.

I had a burst of energy on Saturday so I was willing to take out and put back my clothes that I wanted to photograph - but Mary helped me also.

And I am very excited over the prospect of two of my children being "seamstresses" - I should have a custom wardrobe this time next year.

And, Muddy, I love that shirt too! Nowadays I can just mutter the words "bears, bears", and the kids know I mean to 'nip it'.

I love that story in 2 Kings. I mean basically he called down a curse on them because they called him bald LOL How funny is that?! And it's in the bible!!! Great stuff....

Thanks for the peek inside your closet. I love the long denim shorts!
