This is Charlotte at the top of our hill / front yard, just before she took off at high speed toward the curb / street. (Let's go ahead and say that her access to concrete was blocked; Grandma photographer wasn't the only one watching her).
This is NOT where she made it halfway down, legs like windmills, before she fell head first and slid part of the way down. This is NOT where she looked surprised and confused that the Hill did that to her, and it's not where she just brushed the grass off her hands and started windmilling again.
This is her resting . . . and honestly, no prompting, but sssshhhhhhhing as if she agrees with my running commentary that her mom and dad would have a heart attack if they saw her.
And anyway, all's well that ends well, right? Yeah!!

Su-Su? Are you available for babysitting?
Any time!! We have no big hills to run/fall down with a dangerous street waiting at the other end. Ok, so it's a barely traveled cove, but that's not the point. We only have stairs to play on, and she hardly ever tries to go up those. However, I bet it was funny to see her reaction as that hill was running up to meet her. Priceless, I'm sure.
Susan has confided in me that she REALLY wants to babysit Maggie. And if Simon, Sam and Winnie could come over too, it'd just be icing on the cake!
Someone is not being very honest. As charming as I think Maggie, Simon, Sam and Winnie must be, they are not my cup of tea. Now, I'd love to spend more time with a certain cutie pie little girl. That I could handle and enjoy. Four animals...not so much. But thanks anyway for the offer. Nice of you to always be thinking of me!
Adorable! :-)
Love her smile!
