I apologize to the three or four people who have been checking in to see if my blog still exists.
It seems like I have just been as lazy as Samantha (aka 'Fatty'), but first it was Vacation Bible School, and then it was Monday. . . Mondays and I don't get along.

To clarify about VBS, and the whining and exhaustion it produces in me: the event is a good good thing, I keep signing up to work; it just throws me out of my comfort zone and blows my routine. Early mornings aren't my 'thing'.
In other news: I went to the Farmer's Market on Saturday and bought five plants and some corn and peaches and some locally roasted coffee beans. Mary and I went to Blockbuster and rented two Alfred Hitchcock movies (Vertigo, North by Northwest), Harvey with James Stewart, and Whatever Happened to Baby Jane, for me. We wanted to rent Gone with the Wind and Sense and Sensibility, but they were checked out.
Outside, it is HOT. But the hydrangeas are beautiful in their blending of pink, purples, and blues.

Glad I have a picture of them, because I'm gonna be indoors for a while. . . . I hate the heat. . .

Thanks for stopping by my blog. It's fun meeting more Bellevue people. BTW: the hydrangeas are beautiful.

Well, I haven't been stopping by your blog, but that's only because I'm subscribed to you through Google Reader. It lets me know when there's a new post. ;-)

You have certainly been a busy gal! Your lazy cat sprawls out just like my lazy cat. ;-Þ

My hydrangeas are in bloom, too. I love them, because I don't have to do a single thing to them each summer, except water them when we don't get enough rain.

I'm like you, once the temps soar, I tend to hibernate indoors. ;-)

I hate the heat too, but I love your flowers. I dont blame you for taking a picture so you can enjoy them inside while they sit in the heat.

VBS is a world all it's own, isnt it?
