I am adamantly anti-baby-haircut, for whatever reasons (maybe because I waited so long for my firstborn to get ANY),

but Jessica, having a mind of her own, took Charlotte to our hair stylist today for some chopping.

Knowing the event was coming up, I took 'before' pictures yesterday, pictures of the hair that we think is awesome and was just getting awesome-r:

Yes, of course we still think she's adorable..... but first haircuts often signal the end of babyhood, not a phase I like to see ending:

Sigh.

It WAS and IS cute. I fully intend to let it grow back out- but this time it will actually be somewhat close to the same length and not so mullet-esque that I have no choice but to pull it up every single day.

Seriously, it takes almost 35 minutes in the morning to "do" her hair. That is almost 3 times as long as it takes me- and I am not even blow drying hers or anything.

This should make it easier to just detangle and go.

Jessica December 19, 2008 at 4:30 PM: Yeah, last night you told me you didn't know "how" to put the cap on the flash drive. The cap that goes on pretty much like the top of a marker...

So, I am thinking your level of desire to not do anything is far far greater than what I am referring to.

It is much more work than, say, putting on jeans vs. sweatpants or putting the cap on a marker.

It was about not being able to put the cap on, but whether or not you handed it to me or Christopher....
