Pigeons and Squirrels

>> Tuesday, March 10, 2009

The rest of you share and share and share your beautiful, colorful birds and baby goats and fluffy sheep and prissy dogs and glamour cats......

Here's what I've got:

Sneaky pigeons that blend in with the dirt and leaves so well that it even takes a long time before the dogs realize they're there.

Energetic squirrels who are unafraid of heights or that their weight might make a branch collapse beneath them and send them spiraling to the ground...... and that last shot - that critter looks ready to pounce on my face. I was getting a little nervous, even on the other side of my telephoto lens.

Squirrels scare me. My dogs scare them. I get an evil sense satisfaction when that happens. :o)

Weeeeeee. Loved your pics!!!! I am a HUGE squirrel fan. When we lived in Washington, we backed up to a forest. I started feeding a few peanuts and eventually I'd have twenty on my back deck. I loved it. The main gal who I named Sammy would eat off my lap and even sneak right inside the house for a peanut. She got pregnant and it wasn't long before she brought her babies for peanuts. Ahhh, fond, fond memories. Thanks.

I've seen squirrels out lately - woo hoo, spring can't be far away now!
BTW - I agree with your thought on my Obama post that he may be making "gaffes" on purpose. Oh, he scares me.
