Things in My House Thursday #33

>> Thursday, March 12, 2009

On Tuesday: high temp - 80 degrees. Tees and flip flops; the great outdoors.
On Thursday: high temp - 38 degrees. Flannel and fleece; the warm indoors.

So I rescued these sweet daffodils from the approaching freeze and am enjoying them in my house. I love their bright, yellow, happy simplicity!

I am so jealous that your daffodils are up and blooming already! They are beautiful.

I have many flowers that I love, but there is something special about daffodils. Maybe it's because they are one of the very first ones to bloom...Ot maybe it's because of the bright cheery yellow faces. Or maybe it's simply because they are beautiful...

My daffies are just peeking out of the ground, but only on the south side of the house. I planted some pink ones last fall. I can't remember where, though. I'll just be surprised, right? *wink*

I should check to see if my crocuses are ready to boom.

That would be bLoom, not boom. I didn't plant any explosives in my yard. LOL!

They are beautiful!!! I adore daffodils. You had weather like us with the sudden temp drop. How nice to enjoy these sunshiny flowers while you wait for warmer days!!

Cute post, Jen! ;-)

I think daffodils and daisy's are my favorite flowers, both so sunny and "smiley". Yours are gorgeous!

Ditto here to the weather, by the way.
