This is the art hanging above my fireplace. Very colorful. Unique, because the curtains are actual fabric, giving the painting a little 3D effect up close and personal.
When I got it, I just 'had to have it'. HAD TO.
Well, now I'm getting a little tired of it. . . .
I still like it, and it still 'works' in the room. But I'm in the mood for something different.
Maybe a mirror.
Maybe one of IsleDance's photographs.
Maybe something abstract.
I don't know, and it doesn't matter much, because I'm feeling way too lazy to actually change things up in the very near future.
Because you know one change leads to another, and so on and so forth and so on.
Whoa. Gotta be up for that.

How neat! I love the 3-D effect of the curtains. What is so weird is that - before I read your post - I did my TIMHT post about CURTAINS too! How weird is that? I think I' similar to you - it takes me awhile to change things. My friend (actually the one who helped me with my curtains) changes most all of her decor - pictures, slipcovers on furniture, etc. - seasonally. I just can't get over that much change!
That's a very unique picture. I'm not up to changing much in my home right now because it all needs changing! That would be too much for me to handle at once! Nancy
Just change up your living room so that it is an exact replica of the painting. Then see how long it takes before someone figures it out.
Very nice and as you said, unique. I "get" how one change leads to another...I've been sitting looking at a stack of storage boxes for six weeks now in my living room that I want to incorporate into my bookshelves there to "hide" stuff...but I know once I get started that will not be the end of it (though it might be the end of me! LOL)
Maybe just change the curtains in the painting. HAHAHA

Love the painting and the 3d with the curtains is such a cool idea. I'm like you, I would just HAVE to have it. ~sigh~ I'm not a big one for change either. It may take me 2 years to change anything I have now. Thanks for sharing!
