Honesty in the Fine Print

>> Saturday, May 23, 2009

A magazine article for detoxing with SLIMQUICK cleanse touts all the benefits of the product, but the miniscule print at the very bottom of the ad tells the whole truth:

"The cartoon shown used SlimQuick cleanse for 7 days to jump start her wieght-loss program, then continued to lose weight by adding other SlimQuick products to her diet and exercise routine.  Results not typical.  Cartoons lose weight easily.  Real people require regular exercise and a reduced-calorie diet to lose weight. "

Oh, to be a cartoon.

It REALLY says that! Flip through any woman's magazine, you should see it, :)

Hmmm ... now I'm curious to see if I can locate that ad - how dumb do they think we are? (don't answer that!)

At least they have a sense of humor! Glad they put that on there about a reduced calorie diet and exercise; I don't like ads that make claims of weight loss being effortless. It's not easy!
