Things In My House Thursday

Inside my house I have this sweet basket of goodies that I won from Susan. Getting something like this in the mail - fun, free, no-occasion - makes for a wonderful day.
Carol got one too, and she did a great job photographing and describing the chocolate goodness: soap, candle, lotion, and bath salts. The bath pillow just guarantees a relaxing soak in the tub.
Equally exciting is the coupon for a free box of Fiber One bars: my favorite flavor is oats & strawberries with almonds.
THANKS, Susan!!
Outside my house are a handful (literally) of blackberries. Not enough to make a jar of jam, I know, but we are elated over any degree of gardening accomplishment. :)
I know why the backyard vegetable of choice is the tomato - clearly they practically grow themselves and do it quickly. We have quite a few green tomatoes that we check on constantly to make sure that the birds or squirrels or worms aren't trying to steal from us. Very exciting!
NOW, if anyone is wondering why I'm so l a t e posting, it's because I forgot again, sorta. I remembered to post, but forgot to go back last night to proofread and schedule it. I went from being so proud of myself for being on top of things, to experiencing that scary panic feeling that I hadn't done something I was supposed to do or shown up somewhere I was supposed to be. . .
Well, I'm here now, so enjoy and join

Happy Thursday!!

Yummy basket of goodies we got!!! Though the smell makes one want to eat. I'm using my coupon today at the store. The strawberry/almond one sounds tasty. I might give it a go!
Congrats on your berries!! We flunked out on veggie gardening this semester. LOL But we plan to get an early start come late winter. Gotta plant earlier here in Texas. Good job!!!
I intended to plant a few veggies, but like a lot of other things I intend to do, it didn't happen.
Congrats on your win!!
yay! I'm so glad you won my goodies :)
I'm very envious of your green tomatoes. My tomato plants are about 4" tall ... they have quite a ways to go still. Your blackberries are very cool! I've never grown blackberries.
Everything looks yummy. You better be glad I don't live near you. I might be tempted to sneak a few of those green tomatoes to fry. I LOVE fried green tomatoes (the food and the movie). ;-)
