Things In My House Thursday #11

This week's TIMHT: the blonde girl with cat figurine:

My grandmother gave me this when I was a teenager. It couldn't have been expensive and I can't find any name markings on it, but obviously, it has other value for me.

I liked the color, the cat, the daintiness and the tranquility of this piece, but when I was young what I was most fascinated with was the 'spaghetti' hair....

YOUR TURN!

What a sweet figurine! I had to laugh at your spaghetti hair comment. I remember seeing figurines with the same type of hair, but I never thought to compare them to spaghetti. You're right, though, that is what it looks like. :oD

How cute! Spaghetti hair is a great way to describe it!

I love this too!! The over all light coloring does give a peaceful feel.

Sweet remembrance of your grandmother. I also became fascinated with things like spaghetti hair when I was small..

I love this...so sweet...exactly what a kitty would do, too!

I found your blog through the TIMHT button at someone else's place (can't remember who!), but I'm so glad I did. You have a really nice place here:) TIMHT is a great idea.
