They don't have to serve a purpose. They are darling! Were they originally used as furniture samples at a furniture store?
It IS sweet! Maybe you could get a dollhouse? My mom always liked little furniture, and several years ago she got a dollhouse. It has been great because we never knew what to get her for gifts - now "something for the dollhouse" is an easy answer. She really enjoys it and it's a definite hit with the grandkids (although they're not allowed to play with it - only look).
Hee hee...Those would be perfect for our Barbie house! They look like something my Grandma would have in her dollhouse. I love the little teacup and saucer! They are so tiny.

I love the furniture! I have a child size two drawer dresser that I use to hold my earrings. I just love it; and yours are sooo neat! I think Caroline 'figured' out the appeal of this furniture for me: it would be PERFECT for Barbie!
I loved playing with Barbie when I was little, but I didn't have any furniture for them; my Barbies would have been the coolest on the block if I'd had this stuff then, :)

It does serve a purpose. It brings you joy!!! I love little furniture. I've always wanted one of those doll houses filled with itsy bitsy stuff.
It's amazing how intricate the details are on the wood. They're lovely!
